Hey everyone!
Before I tell you about me, I feel it is important to make something clear:
I am an altruistic stumbler and I only stumble the sites I like.........
My name is Lou Ginocchio and I am the founder of a food and cooking website - goodhoot - that concentrates on the following topics:
1) The sociology of food (i.e. the social, economic, cultural, political, and historical contexts that influence food and vice versa).
2) Cooking equipment reviews and recommendations.
3) Recipes - but I am better at finding great recipes and following them well than I am at inventing them. So I tend to highlight the recipes of others - giving due credit of course - than I am at introducing my own.
I am also a graduate student at The University of Alabama. It is a place that happens to be foodie purgatory. I get by though because I lived for six years in foodie hell.
