Oh my days. I'm warming up to a suggestion my friend made the other day: Anyone who supports Palin needs to be sterilized immediately.

Cool idea. If it did come into fruition however I'd be worried about the cleaning aspect. I don't think the automated changing of the bed is enough. The rest of the box would need to be cleaned especially if people were using it for a romantic rendezvous.

I have no problem with spiritual belief. In fact I encourage it, I think exploring what our purpose in this world is and engaging in compassionate thought is one of the best things you can do with your life. I also think that reading religious texts can be extremely beneficial. While I certainly wouldn't align myself with one religion I would say I favour Buddhist texts. This is because I think they offer good guidelines on how to live your life and get the most out of it. I also think Jesus was a dude. Whether he actually existed on this planet is neither here nor there. His teachings were beautiful (I can't say the same for the vast majority of the bible) However; the interpretation given by many Christians is in my view inaccurate. If you truly truly followed the teachings of Jesus like you claimed to you wouldn't act the way you do. If Jesus was around today I think he would be sickened by how you've taken his teachings and used them for your own bigoted means. Would Jesus have ever wanted people burned at the stake? NO. Would he want such a strong divide between rich and poor? NO. Would he have wanted war? NO. Would he have wanted huge ornate Churches? NO. None of these things correspond with his teachings. And if anyone honestly tries to argue that with me I say bring it the fuck on.

This painting is a lovely example of fucked up interpretation and distortion of truth. People use religion as a blanket to cover up their own fears and thoughts on the world. Further more why would Jesus be behind America and nowhere else?!? It's just fucking absurd.

This is just... I have no words. This article seems to imply that people knew what was going on. Why did no one help that poor child?
