I began my life as a photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area taking pictures of the skateboard and punk rock scenes in the mid-eighties. This was a time long before extreme sports were in America's lexicon and the general public looked down on poor me and my cohorts. As the eighties turned into the nineties, my work turned darker and less action sports-oriented, and women also started to take their clothes off for me. In the latter part of the 90's, I turned my attention to the internet for the purposes of creating my own audience.
