- Alright! A crossplatform library for assured UDP delivery. And on top of that, it isn't GPL! Totally thumbing this up for now. I'm going to try it out pretty soon... I was going to keep searching for SCTP libraries without GPL, but this'll do till that happens (since I'd use the same datagram format irregardless of the transport layer).

- Sometimes the big guys make large manuals for tech that has poor public documentation. SCTP is one of those.

 (3 reviews) mac-os http://www.mindnode.com/ - I use mind maps a TOOOON... for everything from reports to arts.... definitely nice to have a good freeware choice for mac now... at first you might think it'd be a pain since this one DOES have a 'pro' version... but the free one is nice and clean and really swell how it's divided up. The free version WORKS. the 15 bucks for the step up, while I haven't done it, seems fair if you use it a bunch. Looks like I might just do that eventually, but yea. We'll see.

- Tweet a sound. Experiment in sharing synth presets over twitter. Mind you, they have their own special getup for making this possible, but if you know VST's and AU's well enough, you could conceivably extend this to many basic synths.

- a rather nice application for videoblogs, youtube, video torrents, and all with support for most of the popular stuff (and some formats that usually only vlc will play). Dandy. I'll be running this for a while to see if it's up to spec. As usual, here's a "benefit of the doubt" thumbs up... just because I'm a hopeful guy
