Carol is a 65 year old woman from Mogadore, Ohio, USA
When I was young and my family would hop into our '51 Ford for a roadtrip, I would squeeze into the back seat with my 2 older brothers armed with our comics and we would trade and bicker and carry on and then every once in awhile my mother would reach around through the cigarette haze and backhand all 3 of us at once. Since then I'm proud to have seen and been through many changes, some of which are reflected here in my pages. Many of my beliefs are contrary to those of my cherished friends and so I say that they are just this, my opinions which are given in the spirit of openness, rather than to in any way alienate those who would come here. Lastly, if you don't click on everything you see, you're missing out on the best part, so try to slow down and enjoy. Blow up the screen, crank up the volume and welcome to my world :-)

I have a stumble friend I'm fond of, who, like so many others, hates Sarah. . . he likened her performance in the debate to Gidget and I forgive him for that, for he probably was a little boy during the Gidget years and anyway, Sally Field, who starred in the TV series . . . (after the Sandra Dee film), went on to become a fine actress of immense proportion. The depth of character spawned on the beach in Malibu, grew legs of it's own and matured to the heart and soul of a strong and wizened woman. To be completely honest though, the original Gidget (r) died an alcoholic. I see it another
way though, that I'd like to mention. Consider the role of Judy Holiday, a 50's dumb blond, given a corporate PR job, because as a minor stockholder, she mistakenly believes that she has a say in company policy. To placate her enthusiasm, she is assigned to be a liaison to the other stockholders. She takes her job very seriously and strikes up friendships, which delve into their personal lives, and in time, she has acheived strong bonds with those who, like her, play a minor role in the body of the company. At the end, their proxies begin to trickle in and she eventually gains control of the entire corporation. If it's necessary to poke fun or assign caracatures to opposing candidates, I pick Laura, in "Solid Gold Cadillac", not Gidget. Sarah possesses these same gifts of vision and communication which, in a perfect world, constitute the heart of a public servant, and being dumb like a fox, she'll have the good sense to not let Washington undermine her basic strengths
