Carol is a 65 year old woman from Mogadore, Ohio, USA
When I was young and my family would hop into our '51 Ford for a roadtrip, I would squeeze into the back seat with my 2 older brothers armed with our comics and we would trade and bicker and carry on and then every once in awhile my mother would reach around through the cigarette haze and backhand all 3 of us at once. Since then I'm proud to have seen and been through many changes, some of which are reflected here in my pages. Many of my beliefs are contrary to those of my cherished friends and so I say that they are just this, my opinions which are given in the spirit of openness, rather than to in any way alienate those who would come here. Lastly, if you don't click on everything you see, you're missing out on the best part, so try to slow down and enjoy. Blow up the screen, crank up the volume and welcome to my world :-)

If you're willing to take a chance by registering with Wolfgangs, try this link... it's 30 minutes of Herbie Mann that you won't regret. If you're into music, you'll love the Vault . . . vintage concerts, they add to the list regularly and send you the links. Never have had any trouble with them and I've been a subscriber for several years. The artwork you see here comes from a gallery that I ran across on JohnsHaven's page, good displays, many of which gravitate to the colorful and whimsicle. Really, you have to try this link . . what a group he had, top notch
A little side note, I've finished with "The Grapes of Wrath" so you can come back now. I confess to have gotten a tad too involved with the book, which was written so very beautifully. The ending was staggering in it's perception of selflessness and unity born of abject poverty. Really only 2 roads to travel in this life, aren't there?
"'Hm-m,' he said. 'Lookie, Ma. I been all day and' all night hidin' alone. guess who I been thinkin' about? Casy! He talked a lot. Used ta bother me. But now I been thinkin' what he said, an' I can remember - all of it. Says one time he went out in the wilderness to find his own soul, an' he foun' he didn' have no soul that was his'n. Says he foun' he jus' got a little piece of a great big soul. Says a wilderness ain't no good, 'cause his little piece of a soul wasn't no good 'less it was with the rest, an' was whole. Funny how I remember. didn' think I was even listenin'. But I know now a fella ain't no good alone.'"Rated • 1 review • painting • fineartamerica.com
