Very interesting report about the 2000 dredge of Wells Harbor (Maine) and the pumping of the sand onto the adjacent beaches of Wells Beach, Drakes Island, and Laudholm Beach. This was done to renourish the three beaches through pipelines, and brought to levels of profile lines used by volunteers who monitored the erosion that was happening due to the Jetty surrounding the opening to the harbor.

Extensive report, with many charts, graphs and photos. Very well done.

A lot of information on a tiny little place in Maine with a great, quiet, beautiful beach. Be aware though, parking is charged, they have rest rooms, but no eating facilities.
