    Oh fuck off. Proud of being Canadian.... What meaningless crap. I can understand being HAPPY to be a Canadian, but proud? What the hell do you have to be proud of? It's not like it took you effort to be Canadian (barring a foreigner becoming a citizen), you just happened to be yanked out of the crotch of another Canadian. that's it.
    The reason people have nationalistic pride is because they can take credit for something, and do ZERO WORK for it. I know, "I'm PROUD of having a cardiovascular system!" "Ya! DNA Kicks ass! Woo!"
