Ridiculous reasoning by over-generalizing many different groups of people as one group which is supposedly all anti-science and apparently lacking the intelligence to understand the inner workings of the holy grail of contemporary technology. Which is obviously an iPad.
So here they arrived, the science police. They tell you to give your iPads away if you don't know how their guts work. By that standard the author must be the first one to give it away.
I'm not sure whether that article is about making a point about a "vocal minority" of climate change deniers or more about some hidden agenda of ridiculing spiritual people in general.
Science is not limited to just physics, biology, medicine and technology either. Science does also cover human beings in general with all due respect and without judging them.
And last but not least science is not a panacea for solving earth's problems.
