I spend too much time on the Internet. I even helped manufacture it!
I've designed,repaired, and trained people on the lightwave and microwave telecommunications equipment sold to MCI, Sprint, and Bell Telephone which carries Internet traffic.
With this insight, I ended up owning the second .com network on the Internet in 1995, bistar.com! See whois: bistar.com to confirm. I built it from scratch. The other .com was in Hong Kong. Everything else was .gov and .edu running gopher servers.
Oh well, I guess coming in second is okay. I'm not fast and I'm not slow, I'm just kind of half-fast. ;^)

Of course, I would like it! I own it! I just created it on June 17, 2008. Prior to that day, it did not exist. Somebody else discovered it before I did, one day after the creation date! That's FAST.
Now, I am not slow and I am not fast. It appears I am half-fast!
Anyway, I created the blog as yet another way to illustrate what you can do on the web. And, for those who wish to get involved in our little circle, it is another way for you to expand your reach. Don't just surf the web, be the web! Well, at least a small corner of the web. ;^)
