This page contains a mind-boggling video describing the 10 dimensions in simple layman's terms. The existence of these dimensions would allows for global consciousness and the transposition of time, the fourth dimension, through higher dimensions.

I have also tagged this review with 'paranormal', because the existence of higher dimensions allow for prophesy, precognition, clairvoyance, telepathy (a form of shared, or group, consciousness) and otherwise unexplainable phenomena widely believed to exist beyond the five physical senses.

Princeton University's site for the Global Consciousness Project provides articles and near real-time data analysis and simple indicators online. Evidently, the data deviates substantially from the statistical norms when major events occur, or are about to occur, in the world. In effect, these electronic devices around the world are linked at this central location to form a global polygraph machine (Also known as a lie-detector).

"Lie-detector" is an inaccurate description of a polygragh device, as it actually measures emotional responses to stimuli, rather than the degree of truthfulness.

Note that I have tagged this review with 'mulitverse.' I do so, because the multiverse theory allows for global consciousness and the transposition of time through the higher dimensions, of which current theory holds as 9, or possibly 10, dimensions.
