I spend too much time on the Internet. I even helped manufacture it!

I've designed,repaired, and trained people on the lightwave and microwave telecommunications equipment sold to MCI, Sprint, and Bell Telephone which carries Internet traffic.

With this insight, I ended up owning the second .com network on the Internet in 1995, bistar.com! See whois: bistar.com to confirm. I built it from scratch. The other .com was in Hong Kong. Everything else was .gov and .edu running gopher servers.

Oh well, I guess coming in second is okay. I'm not fast and I'm not slow, I'm just kind of half-fast. ;^)

    Co-operatives are voluntary organizations, open to all persons able to use their services and willing to accept the responsibilities of membership, without gender, social, racial, political or religious discrimination.

    They are democratic organizations controlled by their members, who actively participate in setting their policies and making decisions. Men and women serving as elected representatives are accountable to the membership. In primary co-operatives members have equal voting rights (one member, one vote) and co-operatives at other levels are also organized in a democratic manner.
