Kick In The Balls

Watching this cycles me through several stages:
1. I laugh guiltily at a guy getting kicked in the nuts.
2. I feel pretty silly for laughing at this. I Remember the TV show within the movie Idiocracy which consists of nothing but a guy getting hit in the nuts.
3. I see it's totally fake, and in fact making a very similar point to the one that Mike Judge was making in Idiocracy.
4. I start to enjoy watching both the nut-shots and the ridiculous responses people have to finding out they're on TV. The audience reactions, and venue choices strike me as brilliant.
5. I still feel guilty for laughing at people getting kick in the nuts, but keep laughing.
6. I ask...Is this kind of comedy part of the process by which we take a downward spiral? Or is it just funny?
7. I read the YouTube comments. Oy.
