Where I live in southern Ontario, there are basically two choices for high quality broadband internet. There's DSL from Bell Canada, and high speed cable from Cogeco Canada. Both of these companies have so called 'soft caps' on broadband usage which comes to about 60GB download and upload for the month. Of course, you can opt into a higher or lower 'tier' based on your usage, and you are penalized for operating outside of it.

Cogeco and Bell have a long history of stifling the development of their networks, hindering broadband saturation into rural areas. Until there is real competition in our area, there will never be innovation.

What a startling coincidence! Civilian deaths go down in countries where there isn't a foreign occupying force!
