This made me SMILE today!

And to think someone said we have a problem with education in this country... Its not funny, the two cases have no commonality. The original question from the "teacher" doesn't provide any information to form any conclusion. The second half of the statement, by itself - "How do you tell which woman is married?" is sort-of funny by-itself but has no relationship to the math question about the birds.

The "I like your style" comment doesn't make any sense because there is nothing similar between the two cases.

Someone needs to put down the pipe. Not funny.

If I have any religion, this is it. When I tell people we are all made of stardust they look at me like I'm crazy. Then I try to explain where the elements in our bodies come from and how we are related and they look at me like I'm even crazier.

I also didn't learn any of this in public school. I wish more people would look up at the night sky. Maybe too many people just can't see it anymore.

There is probably more wrong information written about computers than there is correct information.

To say registry errors are the most common cause of computer slowness is ridiculous. Where do people come up with this stuff?

Computer slowness can have many causes. On a Windows box it is often malware or virus but not always, not even most of the time. Most of the time there simply aren't enough resources available (disk, cpu, ram) and disk is perhaps the MOST often overlooked choking point in a personal computer.

Full, messy, highly fragmented disk drives are slow. Combine that with a shortage of physical RAM and lots of swapping or paging to disk and you have a slow computer...

But to say even this is the "number one cause" or tell everyone who has a slow computer to go out and buy a bigger drive or throw RAM at it is equally asinine unless the PC has been assessed by someone with half a brain who knows how to troubleshoot basic computer problems.
