Torn Between Two Lovers by Mary MacGregor

I blogged something my sister was inspired to write after hearing this song
The Lovers we ALL have inside of us
Darkness and Light
You have to see the movie "The Phantom of the Opera"
"Torn Between Two Lovers"
No Longer Tattered Between my Lovers of Light and Dark
It's time for me to lay down my sword but I will not lay down my truth.
I lie here finally in no pain knowing that my lovers of light and dark are one in the same.
Let me explain a bit before you go berserk.
It's that I love, the two of light and dark that have become one.
You now allow me to hold you as one.
Finally, there are no more veils of ice to hold our feelings frozen like crystals of snow.
It always felt to the two of you that there was someone else
but it's only because you both were two, even though you knew.
I loved you both equally yet it did not sit well with either one of you.
For you each wanted to possess me, you wanted me for your own.
I could not be faithful to not even one of you, but only to both of you.
Turning tricks in the light and turning treats in the night.
There's no longer an empty place inside of me for you two have become one.
You always have been one to me; you just didn't see it clearly between yourselves.
Now only you two as one can fill this spot, this void in my heart.
To be the lover and the loved and the loved of the lover;
tattered between the two; juggled between light and dark no more.
I'll no longer be choosing between two lovers.
I'll not be a fake any more.
I joyfully break all the rules allowing you two to be one.
No longer will I be ripped to shreds, the jig for us is up for us.
The rule has been broken, as I have made two whole.
Now take my hand as one because you have successfully won my honor.
There is no one else but you; there is no one else but me.
You two were my first loves I ever had and you two as one will be my final love forever.
This is not a play, this is not a game; it was once, but it has long since been done.
I gave my heart to the both of you, yet I met with you each secretly.
Please stay with me as two made one
and with me who you call your lover, we will make two.
Now we join what once was three.
Finally, we three are One.
We ARE.

In darkness is where you imagine.
Imagination in darkness is more powerful
than visualization with sight.
For, with imagination, you feel
and when you feel,
you manifest your creations.
