I recently ordered a Podium Pad for my Powerbook G-4 ! This might be the best accessory yet for home and mobile computing ! I always find plugging accessories into my laptop un-user friendly ! The Cool-pad allows me to turn my laptop 360 degrees and face my ports as I plug in a USB or Firewire Connection ! No more lifting off of the desk ! The unit is well made and comes in black or white ! Yes it really does dissipate the heat ! The Podium is a real bargain at $29.95 and shipping is extremely reasonable !
