In 2010 I published my novel Hungry Rats, a murder mystery set in my hometown of Flint, Michigan. To promote it I made tasteful, artistic videos featuring talented musicians like Elisabeth Blair and Richard Whaling. Clearly, this was a mistake. If I had a second chance, this is what I'd do differently!
