Mathematics helps us make models of the natural world. Economists use math to model things that economists care about, like prices, quantities of goods, supply and demand, etc. Economics is the study of a complex system, and making models for economic systems is difficult and error-prone. To use math to make an economic argument, you must show that your mathematical model fits the economic reality at least reasonable well, and last I checked, neoclassical economics falls far short of that.

It would seem the protesters know why they protesting. These comic signs, though not exactly those borne by actual protest participants, have nevertheless distilled the sentiments for which the latter rally, and are not too dissimilar from the real things. You may disagree with the validity of the reasons for protesting, but you would be wrong to say the protesters don't have any.

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt; you may have missed the signs or been unable to read them clearly. Now that you have their contents clearly before you in this review, consider rescinding your obviously false statement, or shifting your strategy to include addressing the grievances depicted on the signs.
