What do you think about this page?
Wait. You are asking a monkey what he thinks? Obviously you haven't been to this page or you may ask yourself what you think. If you have yet to examine self, this is a good place to start.

Excellent source for syntax challenges in a multiple language house.
click on one of the many languages and put your statement in the search
bar. a delightful array of examples appear, from an array of sources.

I don't usually do the blog thing... my thoughts are
unimportant. That claimed, I will proceed to act contrary to my claim.

Codemonkey75 is a monkey. A figment of a demented mind. Look
at the avatar... does this look like anyone you could or should take seriously?
    NOT.

I have been working and playing and living life way too
hard. I don't come to SU often anymore. When I do, it is only for a moment to
see what is happening and to hopefully give a few people reason to laugh. This is
how I handle my stress after having a couple strokes and a heart attack being
too dang young to die. Everything the monkey does and says is pretty much
    monkey-shines.

I came in today and found that someone I admire has BLOCKED
me. Now that has never happened before. Even monkeys have to reflect occasionally.
So I backed up and noticed I have been making entries that amount to rudeness. For
this I must apologize to all SU friends and associates. I must apologize to that
admired one who blocked me too. In fact, I noticed I have been unfriended by
way too many people I care about. My thoughts lately have been on the problems that cultural differences make in our world and how cultural bias penalizes people. (Sounds like book material to me.... hmmm)

The last thing I want is to be rude and crude. I certainly
have no reason to be taken seriously. Nothing I say or post should be taken
personally. Anything I can add to this forum is probably to evoke laughter... I mean:
what do you expect from a monkey. Now as you may have noticed at the zoo,
monkeys are crowd creatures and do not want to be alone. Have you ever seen a
monkey trying to offend anyone? That's not what it is amabout.

So I will move from here and clean back up some of the crap I
am posting... and you know what they say, if you can't take a joke.... Either way, I said this and I meant this.

Thank you all for being here these years and I wish many
more for each of you....monkey swings off through the trees looking for mischeif.
    Cheeeeerrrrrsssss!!!
  • remember - Life is short, so live it up, drink it down,...

From the site: How to remember - Life is short, so live it up, drink it down, laugh it off, avoid the drama, take chances, and never have regrets, because at one point everything you did was exactly what you wanted by amisu
    It took me
    4 weeks
    It made me
    relieved, lighter
"It's been a great reminder to not take life or myself so seriously"

How I did it: There's just been some sort of process of letting go, for which I can't take personal credit....just having this aim was enough for it to happen. I do tend, ridiculously enough, to have hung on to the Protestant work ethic and incorporated a good dollup of guilt. How foolish is that, for someone who isn't Christian? Ah well, I've had enough of a breath of fresh air to get some perspective and to be able to see that most of what has bothered me is all froth on the surface of the water. And what other people are getting up to is their business - their karma is their karma.
