In Flanders Fields - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rated • 4 reviews • poetry • wikipedia.org
If you want to know why poppies are used on Veteran's Day it's because of this poem from WWI.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die.
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
â€" Lt.-Col. John McCrae (1872 - 1918)
Have a good Veteran's Day. -

How The Government Is Manipulating And Distorting Markets...
Rated • 2 reviews • government • businessinsider.com
From the page: And thus it's no surprise that the housing market doesn't work like other markets, and that we had a major bubble there. Even now, Goldman Sachs
estimates, the government is adding at least 5% to the cost of each home, through its various "affordability" measures.
But it's not just housing. Virtually every important sector of the economy is being manipulated in some way.
