Welcome to my Stumble Upon Page

I like mail, and I will probably say hello, all things being equal.

Please feel free to say something, no seriously you're already online and it costs nothing but time, and believe me I value that, and in the end time is all we have. Precious time, then death. What can I say - hey you're already special to me.
Opinions. Those in "quotes" belong to other people. Same goes for facts. They are here because they are interesting. At least to me. Not always because I necessarily agree with them. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
Answers. I don't have all the answers. I like to think I have a lot of answers, answers that work for me, but they're probably not for you; like I said, they're mine.
Comment. If I have something to say - and on occasion I feel like saying something, so I do.

    About me
(Skim readers and fast click stumble button slingers will probably miss this bit - and why shouldn't they, I probably would if I was you.)
Since you've been asking, single, no children, no ties.
I'm good at... compliments, shopping, second guessing plots lines, eating apples in their entirety, reading books, writing, talking, being the centre of attention, and lifting heavy objects.
The first things people usually notice about me... I'm shaped like a triangle. Broad shoulders - narrow hips, jackets never fit me unless they are tailored. My penchant for hats, and fast cars.
On a typical Friday night... I don't have a typical Friday night, doing something dangerous I suppose, involving hats and fast cars probably
Remember : my awesomeness is only surpassed by my humility; while my manners and charm may dazzle, they generally hide the fact I am actually quite dangerous.

Mystery Stumblers Hey you! Yes you, with the eye catching photo as an Av. connect with me and I will check if it's been pulled off the net, and if this is so, I will automatically assume you're probably a 300lb Nigerian Scammer sitting in an Internet Cafe, Sorry I know that's an assumption of guilt, but this is the internet people. In other cases I'll balance the probabilities - but I'll probably still be suspicious O_o , don't take my cynicism personally.
Friend Requests. Or as TPTB now calls em' "Mutual Subscribers who can "Direct Share" " ( catchy isn't it? ) Any ways over the last few months I've noticed almost all of my Friend / Mutual Subscribers Who Can Direct Share - 'MSWCDS' requests have been nothing of the sort.
Look I don't mind people promoting 'something' provided they are up front about it, but what I will NOT do is 'thumb up' something just because you send it to me. ( I have to fight the desire to thumb down any page with the ' welcome stumbler... thumb up... ' kind of thing - just because of the ask )
So don't bother sending me a friend / MSWCDS request if you are one of the neo-stumblers hiding behind the camouflage of being genuine ( and probably a hot av ). To you SU is purely a sales tool, bully for you, but I'm not interested - and as soon as you ask me to promote your site/s I'll drop you.
Finally a warning. If you choose to be ignorant, insulting or just banal then I will block you in a heartbeat.
Seriously some words, so far I've blocked a handful of people, for the following reasons: Spamming - always. Being a tosser, that happens, rarely, but it happens, for example don't flame me, you'll just get zero response save being blocked.
Lastly reviewing a third party page I've stumbled using the 'testimonial' review of my blog / SU Page to do it. I really hate that.

Access my Public Folders, listen to my music collection via my Opera Unite page
NB. Opera Unite only runs if my PC is on ( which it usually is) and I have Opera running. If you can't access my site, or if you're a friend and want the password to the 100GB of music I have you just have to say.

  • The Internet Movie Database (IMDb)

    Rated Aug 25 2005 787 reviews movies imdb.com

Finally after months of stumbling around the internet and countless individual IMDB pages, here I am at the Home page.
But speaking of individual IMDB pages there is always at least one review, and usually more, which complains along the lines of 'no not another IMDB page given the thumbs up'... I sympathise greatly with this complaint, but then again I can't say that every single time it's a bad thing, only mostly - I suppose for a main stream movie, say Titanic [never seen] against say Star wars [see many time] the argument is valid, I have already made my mind up about such a movie, it's just too big to miss, too big not to have an grasp of the story, the plot, the ending... if you don't know something about these mega-films you must have been living in cave, so loud and so far reaching is mighty marketing of the mega-movie and it's associated merchandise.
Then again once in a while you see an IMBD movie review of a work that's old, obscure, or just forgotten, and you think hey maybe I'll check that out, again this is problematic, there is the matter of perspective, to a movie-buff another man's lost and forgotten is to them a popular classic. I guess after all this rambling. I am really just steeling myself for the inevitability of stumbling across more individual IMBD movie pages of major movies - how about an idea - if you see an individual IMBD review page of a movie you like why not google another page about that film, if you like it rate and review it, just my two penny worth.
