I knew that Adolfo Carrion, Jr. was destined for greater things. When I met him again in September of 2008 after many years, he was still Bronx Borough President, but something in me told me that he was destined for greater things and low and behold, I read the great news of his being appointed by President Obama as the White House Urban Affairs Chief in January 2009. I knew he was destined for greater things, but I had no clue that he would soon be appointed White House Urban Affairs Chief. Prophecy or not on my part, President Obama could not have picked a better man for the job.
Cudos to you our dear Friend, Carrion Jr.! I wish you every success and may you be blessed in your new post. I know you'll do a fine job!
