The Danish Royal Library is a treasure of rare books. "Black Diamond", as the library is called because of it's shape and color, is the home to a priceless manuscript from the 16th century, the "El primer buena cronica y buen gobierno", the description of the conquest of South America and the Inca empire by Guaman Poma, a indigenous Peruvian who wrote in Spanish.
The text and the drawings are marvelous, an hybrid between the Quechuas and Aymaras legends and the biblic lectures given by the Spanish priests. The manuscript can be read online.
