Hi! I'm an INFJ personality type and a compulsive sandwich squasher. "Online" doesn't necessarily mean I'm "here" (I sometimes hide in the sofa cushions). If I don't respond to a message, it's nothing personal, I just get easily overwhelmed. Thanks for understanding.

THIS UGLY STUPID STICKY THING WILL BE FIXED SOON. I PROMISE. MAYBE.

Will try to answer some mail soon. Sorry. It just piles up more and more and turns into this huge, looming monster. Ha-ha.
I think I'm afraid of it now. :-P~~

STICKY THING in process of being reformatted. All unappealing aesthetics are temporary. ;-)

  • For My Boys

    Created May 10 2009

This is a post from two years ago, and I feel no less the same way now as I did then, even though my oldest (age 17) has gotten his driver's license, my youngest (age 15) has added a few more gray hairs to my head, and both are several inches taller at 6'4". Despite the turbulence of the "teen years" and misunderstandings and everything else that goes along with bridging the gap between childhood and adulthood, I will never lose sight of what's most precious to me: my boys.

    I HOPE YOU DANCE

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
To get your fill to eat, but always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance....

    I hope you dance...

    I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances, but they're worth taking
Loving might be a mistake but it's worth making

Don't let some hell-bent heart leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out... reconsider
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance

    I hope you dance...

    I hope you dance

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance...

    DANCE...

    I hope you DANCE

    But don't just dance.....

    Dance with me.
