This article is extremely biased in favor of the Mormons. While they weren't the only one's who supported Prop 8, the author fails to mention that they were the ones who pushed to get the signatures to get the proposition on the ballot in the first place, they were the single largest financial contributor despite being an extremely small part of the Californian population.
The Mormons attacked LGBT Americans and their families, let's not mince words, that's what Prop 8 was. Now they're surprised that we're angry and are playing the victim? Give me a break.

"Here in Utah, although we do experience hate crimes, the LDS Church generally fights through legal action."
Oh, so they won't call you a faggot to your face, they just pass laws that make it illegal for you to form a family, that keep you unprotected from hate crimes. What a kind and civil gesture.
Mormons, you reap what you sow, and when you sow hatred and fear as you've done in California, you can expect a nice harvest of the same at home. You made many enemies last month; count me as one of them.
