casual and easy going, enjoying the ride of life and remembering: A good friend will bail you out of jail ! A best friend will be in the cell beside you !! Along the way fame and fortune don't amount to much compared to the lives that you touch, and those lives that touch you, forever altering your view of yourself and the world :)The only prison that can hold you, is the one you build around yourself.

I find it interesting to see the many articles on the symptoms of a failing U.S. economy: foreclosures, falling home values, rising unemployment, etc. --- but almost no U.S. media articles address what has caused and is continuing to cause this economic funk --- the loss of good paying U.S, manufacture jobs to slave labor countries like communist China and North Vietnam. WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA etc. were and are BAD TRADE DEALS for the U.S. AND for the world. Until more people realize this and these slave labor trade agreements get redone or undone, the U,S, especially and the world economy's will continue to suffer.

The notion that the U.S. or any country can successfully transfer to a totally service jobs economy from a manufacture economy is a false notion. The only reason service jobs exist is to support manufacturers. Lose 1 manufacture job, and you lose 4 service related jobs. Ask Lee Iacocca. He knows he's done the research.

Hmm, It would appear SU is in the process of dooming it's self into extinction with "improvements". Best update those email addies with your real friends ,people are leaving even now and many will be fading soon....as word spreads of the impending loss of creativity and personal opinion. Hope I'm wrong. I guess I have the same choice of fading, deleting account, moving elsewhere or just plain disappearing.
    I guess that depends on response,huh ? :)

You will be flat out for a few days. I fortunately seem to be ornerier than the bug and it can't live in me much longer :)

    The biker

A Harley biker is riding by the zoo in Washington , DC when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents.

The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A
reporter has watched the whole event.

The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, 'Sir, this was the most
gallant and brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.'

The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind
bars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.'

The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a
journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page... So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do
    you have?'

The biker replies, 'I'm a U.S. Marine and a Republican.' The journalist
    leaves.

The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings
news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:

U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH

That pretty much sums up the liberal news media's approach to the news these days.
    ---------------------------------------------------
And so, who do you believe ? Your own eyes, your common sense, conversation with friends...or what you are told to believe, by the social engineering machinery which desires a homogenized and docile populous. Think people. :)

Lucky me....again. Monday begins my 6th life time call to jury duty. I don't try to escape it. When this duty or privilege is scraped, all vestige of freedom will be gone. It's one of the few times I get to tell the man what to do and he can't do nothin about it , LOL ! Criminals, count your blessings and repent. Recent events have me in a very compassionate state.Your chances are good, unless you've hurt someone with malicious intent. Dom de dum dum
