The Ruins of Detroit

Like a cancer, if not addressed, it will finally destroy far more than a once vibrant city.
The waste is appalling as are the attitudes this damage reflects.
How does this wanton destruction, this wicked waste of both human and material resources equate with the glitz portrayed by a prosperous USA?
This oozing sore can't be ignored and any society that ignores the underlying causes is in deep strife.
I am appalled - is this the same nation that wants to shoot for the stars?
A reality check is sorely needed.
