I have learned so much about CSS from Eric Meyer; through a couple of his books as well as posts on forums.
His website is full of thoughts on the direction of the web and its concepts, resources, and bleeding-edge information on web design and the techniques and tools. Loads of links to springboard the visitor into a world of endless learning.
Oh, yes; the slanted border on the right (in Mozilla browsers) is modified to (sorta) work in SU from css shown in his "Slantastic" page (but not in IE; because of SU constraints I had to change divs to bs and ems).

Numerous Flash & Java applications, some fun, some useful. "Dreamlines" is one that is visually appealing, and fun to run. From the page: "Dreamlines is a non-linear, interactive visual experience. The user enters one or more words that define the subject of a dream he would like to dream. The system looks in the Web for images related to those words, and takes them as input to generate an ambiguous painting, in perpetual change, where elements fuse into one another, in a process analogous to memory and free association."
This image is a screen capture from Dreamlines, run using the keyword "friend."
They often get more colourful than this one, but I liked it.
