Trouble is, we're already past that sustainability point, owing to rampant fossil fuel combustion. We face "not a problem for your grandchildren to solve...it's a problem for your parents to have solved." Deals with the 7th Millennium Development Goal, maybe not explicitly but its scope is global and its impact will be for the next millenium depending upon how we act today.
