A new site has launched called CashTexts, and in short it works like this...
Advertiser pays CashTexts to send out a targeted (geographic/demographic/etc) advertisement (which, if you are unaware, are very expensive and are in high demand) that contain coupons from the advertisers (yay for saving!). CashTexts then sends the paid for amount of texts out to its users that meet the targeting requirements.
If you meet the requirement, you receive a text message and are paid $0.05 to your account for receiving the text message. You can choose how many texts you want to receive per day (you can choose between 0-5 at the moment), if you chose 5 (which is the max at the moment) you will receive 150 texts/month and earn $7.50/month, which might bring you enough to allow you to upgrade your texting plan to something that allows you a little more freedom (if you don't already have unlimited texting).
