God is like an infinite Ocean.

How comes this golden egg we call our universe?

Arisen living water in every atom, cloud and sea?
Arising every moment, in the heart & mind of thee!
There is One Brilliance, Everywhere Radiant
Remembering this is the Yoga of Awakening
Friends,
Like many of you, I am a New Age Universalist.
And I invite you to acknowledge this way.
Call it what you will, Gnosis, Tao, Dhyana, Yoga,
Tasawuf and it's many variations,
all these refer to an eternal Oneness
that is Universal and in the world now, ever new, ageless.
It is your way, the way of the mystic,
the way of the heart, the seeker, The One.
In Buddhist traditions this way is known
as Dhyan, Chan, Zen, Dzogchen.
In Yoga Traditions it is Vedanta, Raja Yoga.
In Christianity it is True Gnosis, from Islam, Sufism.
Even so these ways express Universal truths in some particular context.
As Universalist now we must live truth in the present, in this moment now.
My dears, your pure heart is a vessel for truth,
and it is your love, which embraces all.
May this One, which you are, light the world in this moment.

These words are engraved,
on a plaque near Yogananda's tomb at Forest Lawns.
Yogananda left the body,
he literally left the body in public,
on March 7th 1952.
Here I lay at thy feet Oh Lord,
My limbs, my life, my heart and my speech.
For all things are thine.
I grieve not that I cannot give,
For nothing is mine,
All things are thine.
Yogananda's last words were from his poem My India which he recited and as he said the last word he "dropped his body" this was during an event, in honor of his contribution to promoting "world fellowship".
A photo, which has become titled"The Last Smile" was taken of him near the hour of his passing.
