I am now wrapping up Call of the Mall: The Geography of Shopping by Paco Underhill. The book dissects a trip to the mall, what techniques are used to lure shoppers now, and what could be improved. An OK read; he makes several good points, but not the fact-packed book I was hoping for. I'm looking mostly for books about how I'm being influenced by corporations and "others" in general. I started reading it around the beginning of March and am finishing up today. Now on to something else... -

I started regularly reading again and figured I'd kick it off with book I've had on my bookshelf for a long time, but never got a chance to read: George Orwell's 1984. I finished it a couple of weeks back and found it interesting; well worth the title "Classic". -
