Does anyone remember how Beijing arranged events to cover-up the Tiananmen Square massacre of peaceful protesters?
A massive military attack [amounting to extreme resort to summary executions] was followed by an immediate attempt to hide the bodies of all those killed.
This was followed by denials that - since the body count could not be confirmed independently - there never was a high rate of deaths. Despite eyewitness testimony to the contrary.
Beijing has learned nothing.
But they want us to attend their Olympics!
