As I said below I never used stripes as an element in my paintings before, so after two of them, I decided to freak out with stripes and lo and behold I ended with a prototype for a whole series...now I am excited!

Below you will see my latest painting (completed Feb.18,2009) shown in two positions--you will have to agree they are very different from each other in each position. If you keep staring for a while at the painting in the first position, you will feel it in you body that it is making you slightly high...it is becomes very optical, and it is a good meditation piece.
In the second position I think it is more esthetically non-conventional. What do you think? Which way do you like it better? I would also like to hear your titles for the two pieces....would you do me a favor and write me...I would appreciate it very much....

- "I took the piece below titled "Holocentering"(four pictures down)-- played around with it for about 20 minutes and came up You Make My Head Spin #2. So does how long an artist works on a piece of art determine its quality...Is a painting worked on for ten years guaranteed to be better than one worked on for two days?. What I found is there are flashy inspirations, and some snail like inspirations......but whose to argue an inspiration is an inspiration...Right?.
