I can't tell you how many times I have wished I could do something (myself) more dynamic with the design of the web forms on my blogs. I can't wait to get my hands on it and I think it will make the set up of on affiliate and review pages much easier as well.

My thought is that consistency and patience are fundamental, write content worthy of attention and add value adding comments to the post of authority blogs in your niche and you will be successful.

Lynn Terry has a unique gift manifest in her ability to make complicated issues easy to understand provide guidance on the way forward. This issue will be interesting to watch as it relates to the that which was unintended - as often is the case when regulating business. I just hope no one goes overboard in their concern about the conduct of affiliate marketers.

My best advice as when playing in Google's courtyard, play by the rules and stay off of the radar screen. It may require more work on your part, but it will be worth it!

Michel - Consider this my non-paid endorsement that this blog post and comment stream should be mandatory reading for all affiliate product creators and affiliate marketers. As so often is the case with legislation, how is this going to be enforced (man power and budget) and what are the unintended consequences?

It seems a bit of a challenging year for affiliate marketers with the State sales tax issues (in selected states) and the new endorsement rules as discussed, the landscape has certainly changed. My advice is to recognize that the sky is not falling; however, I become concerned by any threat to free markets and entrepreneurship in principle.

It is clear that as internet marketers, we all have steps we must take to remain clear of trouble in this regard.

I do not think this is an area where anyone should take risk, because the web is so transparent that flying below the radar is just not possible. So my advice is that marketers do not take risk and follow the excellent advice you offer here.
