Artinliverpool.com, the top British art blog and founder and organiser of the annual Liverpool Art Prize, are delighted to make some exciting announcements concerning this year's events.

Just been reading the first of Mercy's e-zines for this year. Its only 6 pages but a good read, the poetry is excellent as you would expect from Nathan Jones & Co. and Tom Common's article about Sheffield architecture is very interesting.

REMINDER - Deadline to Register For John Moores Prize is 19 Feb 2010

Bid on your favourite penguin from anywhere in the world... 3 - 5 February 2010

I struggled at first to digest all the data but I hope I'm correcting in saying...
- You can register now if you intend to bid on any penguins (obviously only serious bidders should register - you need to provide id etc.)
- You can, of course see all 63 lots online now and they will be on public view at St George's Hall on 3/4 Feb.
- The online auction starts at 09.00 on Wed 3 Feb so you can start placing bids.
- On Friday 5 Feb from 12 noon the bids close at 2 minute intervals, so Lot 1 closes at 12.02, Lot 2 at 12.04 etc. until they're all gone around 14.00.

Hope that's clear (and correct).
