What is important to you? What makes it important? Why so? In regard to objectivity and subjectivity, which bears more weight to you and why? Make of this what you will as I have made of it what I will.

I wrote this a year ago for myself: Presently I am lost to thought about the meaning of real and surreal and why should one have to differentiate one from the other. Odd as it may sound, I wonder about realms of reality that exist parallel to our own which are not seen by the naked eye. They are more at thought and thus conjured. Can it be said that a touch within a dream feels just as real as a touch in our waking reality? Can it also be said that a rose would still smell as sweet if not sweeter? The brain is a great CPU and the storage capacity is virtually unlimited. How many memories are stored in one year? How much music, literature, art, science, math, et al can be maintained by one individual at any given time? What about the value of the senses? What is hot for one is not so hot for another and while one is cold the other is temperate. These are variables. Variables come in handy when collectively conscious. I question whether bodies are necessary machines in the process of evolution. If a mind were not matter but rather energy (which it is), then all memories (including sense perception) of past events and experiences both real and imagined would become a part of a non-real reality that one chooses. If you throw in collective consciousness and meme replication, the biological would lose logic in thought as it would thus be only thought. Perhaps it is only a thought. The idea that this sort of replication would stagnate and die cannot be as we all dream. We all experience desire and have fantasies of one form or another. We all see something in the future. The future could consist of this world or others depending on who/what is doing the thinking. You may wonder how will it be possible to reproduce if existence only existed as thought. In thought mode, one could be physical and take a mate and replicate a being. That being would then join in the circuitry and be its own free thinker and contribute its own ideas based on the collective intelligence. In the physical, one goes to school and learns through rote and/or mimic therefore in essence, that being is built from past history. Also, experiences mold the dynamics of thought therefore, the new being to the circuitry, if using the baseline of all predecessors, would choose paths in which they will either veg into self destruction or keep on creating. As thoughts do not die, destruction is simply moot. If questioned on how would one then value the creation, the answer would have to come from within the creator. The ability to generate new scenarios and play with life will then be condensed to a short flick or a saga that plays on for centuries. Depending on the game scenario one chooses for the moment or for eternity. Consider it the alpha or dawn of a new age. As the future is an open door, it is not closed to any possibility. At present, one must consider probability, but imagine if probability were not a factor for consideration. ~ Maggie ~ 6/19/08
