Traditional style green amber pendant from Gdansk, Poland, still the amber capitol of the world. Very pretty lily & leaf motif. The silverwork is shaped around the natural shape of the amber stone.

Kos says, ... For this collection, I used many really different kinds of wood-- black oak, ebony, plum, cherry, apple tree, birch, walnut & padouk (red). Woods that I found, woods that I kept, woods that were given to me. So the wood is a mosaic in the same way the amber is a mosaic. It is fair to say that I am fascinated by the micro world.
