In February the Pee Powered battery was in the testing phase in Japan. Now it would seem they have made it to the store for the Japanese to buy and use. NoPoPo (Non-Pollution Power) Aqua Batteries are available in both AA and AAA form.

The idea here is that the batteries can be recharged with various different fluids, using the new technology which forms electric power using liquid as a catalyst.

What more can I say? Really?! Especially looking at the name of them!!!

The Conservatives will propose banning plasma screens and other energy-guzzling devices in a report that is to be unveiled next week. It targets fridges and freezers, as well as TVs, PC's and DVD players that use too much energy or operate on stand-by.

Ok, I definitely think we should all do what we can to conserve energy, but I'm gonna be pissed if our government tries to come in and tell me which appliances I can and can't own. One point not mentioned here, when looking at refridgerators, etc... those aren't luxury items that we "choose" to have, and many people simply can't afford the latest models. Are they going to be forced to come up with the money for them???

From the page: "Man Tries To Return Wal-Mart Ammunition At 1300 Feet Per Second

It's Walmart's policy that all sales of guns and ammunition are final. One San Diego man didn't like that policy so he tried to return the ammunition the old fashioned way. By firing it in the Walmart parking lot.
The Consumerist reports that according to the Union-Tribune in San Diego, a man tried to return shotgun ammunition to his local Walmart.

He was refused he then became enraged and told the employees he would be back to kill them all. After that, he fired off some shots in the Walmart parking lot. No one was hurt, but witnesses were able to get the license plate number and police located him at his home.

The San Diego SWAT team surrounded his mobile home(That is a surprise, truly) and eventually they had to use tear gas to get him to surrender after a standoff that lasted 8 hours.

C'mon. Did he really think they were gonna take the ammo back after he went all crazy with his crime spree?"

I, personally, think it's pretty scary that Walmart sold it to this nutcase in the first place!

In a move that's bound to provoke controversy, Home Office Police Minister Tony McNulty has given his approval for police use of taser guns against children. His opinion is that the dangers of serious injury or death is low.
The Defence Scientific Advisory Council medical committee, composed of independent scientists and doctors, disagrees. Not enough research has been done to determine the health risks to children, but they believe that there is a risk of "serious cardiac event."

This is just absolutely wrong! Arg, I get so tired of the abuse of power in our legal system... I better not even get started! I posted, just last night, about a new device, a flashlight that makes you puke... now that makes more sense... at least that's not gonna give anyone a heart attack!!!

  • Man Shot With Stun Gun As He Tries To Leave US Hospital...

From the page: "n a shocking clip from a CCTV camera in Houston, Texas, a man is shot with a Taser gun after trying to leave the hospital with her in his arms. The 30 year old man is now claiming his baby girl was seriously injured in the incident

After a claim by both the mother and father of the baby girl against the Woman's Hospital of Texas of ill treatment, the parents of the new born decided to leave when the man was shot with a stun gun.

The man seen in the video clip here, William Lewis, was not allowed, by his wife's doctors, to leave the building with the child. As the baby was still wearing her wristband, it let off a sensor in the hallway outside the ward causing all exits of the floor to shut down instantly.

As the piece of film here clearly shows, the man was shot by a security guard at the doors of a lift as the man was trying to leave.

Both himself and the baby were supposedly injured in the attack. The man is now saying that the incident has serious injured the baby.

The guards, seen here also, attempted to talk calmly to Mr Lewis who was angry at the time. One guard shoots, whilst the other picks up the baby as Mr Lewis fell to the floor. The baby is then quickly returned to her mother.

Yet the sides of this case now in hand are standing very firmly apart from each other - Houston Police say they are not intending to investigate the actions of the guard who shot Mr Lewis. In the same turn, Mr Lewis send this video to Associated Press for their view and a serious amount of publicity.

The incident which happened in April just gone, has since been followed by various tests carried out on the child, who Mr Lewis claims, was seriously injured in the attack. MRI scans have proved that the child did not suffer any injury.

The baby is now in the care of the Protective Services since a strong history of violence runs in the household where the child was residing."
