Andrea is a woman from Englewood, Colorado, USA
I'm a Canadian runner who recently relocated to Colorado.
I hold degrees in French and Spanish, Digital Communications & Computer Science.
I've been working in the online space since the late '90s. In 2000 I set up an online magazine with a friend (jaggedmag.com - now defunct) that was picked as a Yahoo! Canada Site of the Week within a month of launch. I was a community leader with Geocities & an Open Directory Project editor close to a decade ago. Who knew that that stuff would later be considered "social media"??
As a web developer, I've worked with such clients at LexisNexis, Limited Brands, ScottsMiracleGro & Procter and Gamble.
My interest in technology is really related to how it affects our lives. I'm passionate about user experience, accessibility, online engagement and marketing.
I now work for a social marketing company, coordinating campaigns to leverage technology for social good. I also have 2 blogs of my own: Digital Likeness and Go the Distance
