An artist from Portugal wants to induce an epileptic seizure on stage - apparently as part of some dance programme. The woman was given £13,889 by the Arts Council England to finance the project.

Something "free to view" from the art newspaper.
So far I've only seen Francis Upritchard's sculptures here. The quality of the video is a bit iffy - but that may be down to the slowness of my laptop.
Here's what is said about her work: Drawing facial expressions and body shapes from friends and family, Upritchard sought to create a selection of sculptures deliberately devoid of meaning, in stark contrast to the background of Venice's infamous sculptural history."
Maybe it's the lateness of the evening, but there's something rather strange about such a premise, surely. What if a writer sought to write a book "deliberately devoid of meaning" - would that make sense? Not as far as I can see - and I'm trying really hard. Rather than a serious proposition, I have the feeling that the "deliberateness" was imposed by the technical ability to produce these little sculptures but there was no particular idea behind them. Saying that meaninglessness of the whole project was deliberate is merely the turning of a vice into a virtue, much akin to the saying "my ambition was to be stupid" by someone really inane.

Yes, but haven't we been saying that all along, that tits = titillation? It's as simple as that. Read the article by Blake Gopnik, originally written for the Washington Post, it would appear. It's an excellent piece of writing, and witty too.
