  • George Bush Assassination Attempt (scary)

Rated Oct 25 2007 2 reviews humor, politics, video youtube.com

This video is FUNNY. Typical day for the administration.
The title in YouTube is NOT accurate (done to boost viewers). This is a takeoff from one of my favorite classic from the past (You may not make the connection if you are young). You will see why nothing positive seems to get done here.

I wish to add an update. Although the first time I heard this I couldn't stop laughing because of the obvious take off from "Who's on First" After thinking about this for a few days, I wish to say that there are 2 things which are NOT funny about this video. 1. The title - no matter our opinion of President Bush, assassination is not a solution (he will give a full account of his life unto Almighty God). 2. The black racial slurs the Bush character makes toward Condi Rice in the dialog (The "not cause you're black" and ""cut the ebonics crap"). I think that these lines should have been kept out. Had these two things not been a part of this video, it would have been totally funny. My funny bone got the better part of my judgment on this one. Thus, I must downgrade the status on this video.

"Man is the ONLY creature who KNOWS he is going to die..." Listen to a PREVIEW of where most people reading this, WILLINGLY CHOOSE to go. Don't believe in hell??? It does not matter, if it's real, you'll still take the heat. Something to definitely avoid (not the video - but God's wrath). For the eternal life of me I can't figure out why people chose to reject Christ's offer of salvation! About 15 min. Closing with a song from Satan.

The two greatest events that will EVER affect mankind are the Rapture and Tribulation. How do they tie together?

This is a POSSIBLE perspective you may not have considered before. You will want to take notes on this one!

There will be NO TIME to prepare for the rapture as it is occurring. An individual must be ready ahead of time. If you know someone who thinks that the rapture will be a final "wake-up call" for people to be given a second chance to accept Christ, you should let them know that they may not get that chance.

How is it possible that people, who will miss the rapture, remain, unrepenting during the tribulation? It seems natural that the whole world would would turn to Christ in this time (if they knew that the Bible predicted this event and they all had just lived through it) but it is not the case.

Will they just not see the rapture for what it really is, and be deceived? Is it possible that the evidence of the rapture could remain hidden in plain sight? (Listen for the Asian Sunami illustration and also consider the earthquake possibility)

A comparison is made between Jesus' description of the end times in Matthew 24 and John's vision In Revelation (particularily Rev. 4:1-7:9) Although no man knows for sure when the rapture will take place; This may be a possible clue as to it's timing.

Presented by Rev. John Stocker and based on the book Earthquake Resurrection by David W. Lowe.

This picture reminded me of the last verse in the Gospel of John.
(Not even what is pictured here could contain them). See if you don't agree.
Thanks to stumbler bulbdude for this picture.

  • How Many People Saw Jesus Alive? - Lee Strobel

Rated Jun 30 2007 4 reviews christianity, video, church, truth, resurrection youtube.com

Many people saw Christ alive after his resurrection. The church was established with the conversion of about 3000 people on the day of Pentecost (only a matter of several weeks after the resurrection). The point is made that MANY of these people KNEW who Jesus was (he lived among them) and they KNEW what Peter preached was true.

Matthew 27:50-53 records that when Christ died, many bodies of dead saints arose, and after Christ was resurrected, they came out of their graves, went into Jerusalem and appeared to many people. Imagine seeing that in person. But greater still, the RISEN Christ, was seen by over 500 people. (see 1 Corinthians 15:6)

Many in that day trusted in Christ for their salvation. Many had seen him. Remember the account of Thomas in John 20:24-29, who on seeing and touching Christ said, "My Lord and my God." Verse 29 "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."
