    This story has been with me since I read it some time ago, and I still cannot decide how much I do or do not agree with the Author. I am, however, always try to have some fun from time to time. As long as I live and despite all the misery that is daily life.

    This is fascintating! I wasn't aware such a phenomenon existed, but it doesn't really surprise me. Like kalaway below said: we do feel attracted to people who are (yes, even genetically!) similar to us (e.g., I was often told that me and my current partner look like siblings!). The desensitisation effect the author mentions makes complete sense... In conclusion, there really should be no taboo on the subject and people in whose families adoption occurs should be informed that the problem exists... Goddam, I feel for everyone who has been affected.
