Par for the course. I was expecting something like this. I haven't been able to confirm this but given how quickly the bill was shoved through, I had my suspicions this would happen. If you look back through the history of The Fed, this is a pattern. The idea here is to deflect attention from the real problem, which is the Federal Reserve Banking System, lack of savings and a national GNP based upon creation of basically nothing other than military weapons, entertainment and a few remaining manufacturers. A nation which produces nothing, loses its value. The difference between now and 1929 is that in 1929, we had a strong manufacturing base and we traded in goods. This is now gone for the most part. We make our money producing nothing. Therefore when it comes time to pay for our expenditures, we have nothing to pay with. This means more inflation, lower paying jobs and a greater transfer of wealth from the average person to an unknown few.
I always treat information from InfoWars with a measure of skepticism, (though I like Alex's work). In this instance, he's on target.

So I guess we no longer have a 4th Amendment to the Constitution. Why am I not surprised. Thank you Mr. Bush. And Congress.

People who understand economics, (the real economics...not what we're spoon fed in college which supports the status quo) and central banking know the Federal Reserve is a driving force behind America's financial woes. It's good to see another elite of the financial industry call for the abolishment and dismantling of the US Central bank, which is unconstitutional and owned by 300 individuals we don't even know who they are.

I keep forgetting to link to Peymon's site! He does some excellent work on civil liberties, constitutional law and especially the IRS. I had the opportunity to meet him in person last month and he's really a great go-go-go----way more energy than I have---guy. You want to learn about the Federal Reserve System, the stripping of US Civil Liberties, and even 9-11 from former FBI bureau chiefs...what isn't being told...Peymon is your man. I've been listening to several of his CD's and the ones by Griffin (The Creature from Jeckle Island) and Joe Banister (former IRS agent who quit the IRS because it is unconstitutional to charge income taxes to most Americans), these two CD's alone are brilliant!

  • LOGANS RUN: 21ST CENTURY.& Using RFIDs to Track the Homeless

Rated Oct 17 2007 1 review politics, civil rights, us constitution couplescompany.com

I noticed on NPR this morning the Bush Administration is moving towards the idea of using chips again to track homeless and other recepients of welfare 'for their own good'. What is frightening is that in the polls NPR quotes, the majority of people do not seem to have a problem with this idea...even when they know what the downside is. I was shocked.
On the surface this all seems pretty harmless but consider this further and really think about it. Our passports and ID's are to have RFID's in them. The government can already trangulate via our cell phones. If they can institute this with society's most vulnerable, it is only a matter of time before it becomes policy for us all. Really consider this issue seriously and dig for more information. I don't know about anyone else but my cell phone already feels like a leash most of the time and that's without the monitoring. At least I can take the battery out of that!
I stumbled upon this story back in 2004 which is why I wrote this commentary. To my knowledge since then this idea was shelved...which is why I was so alarmed waking up this morning and hearing about it again.

I'll take another look at this (as well as the NPR report which should be posted tomorrow) and see if I need to update any of the information in this article as well.

This is a rather interesting twist to the espionage case pending against the two former AIPAC executives, Rosen and Weissman. Very interesting in deed and it gives a glimmer of futuristic optimism shaded in resolution. I especially like the forked path both men take. Rosen continues along the expected path of 'it's the fault of anti-Israel sentiment/ideas that lead the FBI to conduct this witch hunt on me', in other words he's staying true to the number one excuse of Zionists, 'We're victims'.

Weissman however seems to be returning to his true calling and feelings. Not playing the victim, not looking for excuses but looking for ways to repent (change his thinking) and do something positive. Hmmm.....well, if Weissman does get serious, should he be acquitted or after his imprisonment, with his skills and knowledge, this man could become a major force in turning the tide in the Middle East away from victimized rationalization toward shared objectives and peace. Something to ponder.

Let me get this straight...We're fighting a war on a tactic, (something that cannot exist since this is a concept rather than a physical entity) to protect our freedom. But in order to protect our freedom, we have to give up the very freedoms we're supposedly protecting?

Have Americans figured out that this whole war and its premis has nothing to do with what the excuses are for fighting it and everything to do with using fear to strip us of our rights, constitution and ultimately our republic in favor of an oligarch rule by the same people we seem to recycle among the various parties decade to decade?

Freedom isn't free. However, the cost isn't blood, (war and imperialism destroy freedom by utilizing fear and a state of security as cover for the usurping of rights, re-writing laws and force justification). The cost of freedom is vigilance, which means shutting off the tabloid news and spending some time figuring out what is really going on, and then doing something about it.

And by the way, while the so-called leading candidates for President, (all the same pro-force with a slightly different spin) continue to tout their qualifications, let us all remember that most of these people are currently in our congress or senate. Their job is to protect the constitution. That this slipped through proves, along with hundreds of other examples) that they do not care about the constitution, do not have the best intrests of the American people in mind and are as much responsible for the destruction of our republic as Bush & Co. Exceptions are of course Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul, who do not support this policy.

I really like Olberman and what he says here, (especially given what I just posted) needs to be heard. I'm still waiting for him to come out against the Israel Lobby, the other demon of American politics, but at least he knows what the constitution is.

    Thanks for this Avmoor--

Does it strike anyone strange beside me that we even debate the use of torture on people. How far have we slid from our founding principles, morals and values. I don't remember anything in the Gospels, the founding principles behind American values...at least until about 50 years ago, that says, 'Thou may torture and hurt others if you think it is justified'. In fact I seem to remember something about, "That which you do to the least of your brethren you do unto me". That's Matt: 25, toward the end of the chapter.

That's also one of those passages the Christian Zionists who do support this kind of torture, (Currently Israel is the only nation where torture is legal, promoted and liberally used) seem to think Jesus didn't mean for them, or for the people he was talking to. They say it is for some future generation who will need to hear these things after they're 'raptured', (another thing not in the bible or part of the Christian faith).
I'm so sick of these people making excuses for immorality and justifying their actions as if the rest of us our too dumb to understand the difference between justice and revenge, good and evil, God like and of satan. Unbelievable.
