This is from Time Magazine on the destruction in Gaza. The picture says it all. They used a patterned background on this which makes it hard to read, but worth your time. Hit 'View' Zoom a few times in your browser. Type is a bit small too.

I'm loving this journalist Jon Snow. Watch what happens when the speaker for Israeli spin gets cornered here. Now if Jon Snow had only been in the US to take on President Bush and the issues with 9/11, perhaps we wouldn't have started two wars and killed over a million people. What he's doing is exactly what a journalist is supposed to do.

British Television put together this 1/2 hour program on the difficulties of covering the massacre in Gaza which includes the efforts used to prevent international journalists from covering the story. You will find this very informative. But it is also graphic. The footage is uncensored. Do take the time to go through all 6-segments. You'll learn a lot about propaganda as well as see for yourself what the state of Israel does not want you to see...and why, in their own words, they don't want you to see it. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent

Because I'm the first to flag this, It's making me do a thumbs up. I know the writer of this, a Lebanese Christian and he's done a lot to improve Christian and Muslim relations and I hate to do this but I thoroughly disagree with the premise on this, the argument and the direction. The quote from Deut. is out of context. The Cannanites were given 900 years by God to get their act together and when they continued to smite Him, He decided to destroy them and all they represented. This was not a mandate for Hebrews to kill as is portrayed. It's much like weeding the garden so it can be planeted anew. The mission of the Hebrews was to go into the world and show the world through deed and action the goodness of God's love. They were to be the shining light, not a blow torch. What Israel is doing today is evil, pure evil and there is nothing in faith to God that permits what they are doing or how they are doing it. However, like taking elements of Revelation out of context, reading into Ezekiel what does not exist or adding the idea of a rapture into Biblical text when it does not exist and the entire concept violates everything Jesus spoke of, this is an example of using religion out of context to vilify where vilification is not justified.

Mohammed and I are working on an article at this time about the massacre today...and it was a massacre. Once he signs off, I'll post it. But be careful of the analogies and conclusions within this article. This is dangerous ground, very dangerous ground and it's not fair to the faith or the people within the faith working very hard to expose Zionism and all it really stands for. In fact, this is exactly the type of stuff that really scares me.

I got to tell you...I am so angry tonight I'm having a really hard time finishing my part of the article on Gaza's strawberry growers. "Israel has a right to defend itself"....yeah? So when does the rest of the world get the right to defend itself against Israel?
The reason Egypt shut its borders to Gaza is because my wimpy country...(you know that red-white-blue spineless super power that is p-whipped by a nation of 6 million people), withheld $100 million of our $200 million per month bribe that keeps Israel and Egypt kissy-kissy with each other. Yes, we have to pay countries to get along with Israel (any wonder why?) and we have to pay for all of Israel's mistakes. So for $100 million dollars Egypt shut the borders again, Israel has escalated its attacks on children and civilians and the whole world is singing 'Israel has a right to defend itself'. Bull Honky.
Excuse me. This isn't 'defense'. This is offense. It's offensive and its bullying.

A little retread on history. (which may end up in my next article...I'll have to sleep on it). Meanwhile below is what I pounded out after hearing about more children being killed so 'Israel can defend itself.' Below this and yes it is rough...I haven't even worked it over yet. Too angry at the injustice. I think this cartoon says it all though!
    Ugh!

Some of the camels eating the floral crop in Gaza. The page this is on has many photos covering the realities in Gaza under Israeli siege...things you won't see in the media. Mohammed is on the ground in Gaza and more often then not when we speak, I can hear the Israelis pummeling his neighborhood with tanks, unmanned drones and hellfire missiles.

This picture goes with the article below.

Now I think I got it right. Here's the slide show of yesterday's carnage in Gaza.

The last thing I got from Mohammed was this:

"power will go down any moment, 90% of gaza has no power, as no fuel. we are the only 10% left, which means we can run out any minute. people are screaming in the streets for help. this is serious."

An US supplied and paid for Hellfire Missile shot by Israeli Occupation Forces into the Densely populated Gaza Strip, an area where 68% of all residents are children, sliced this man's body in half. He's being admitted to the morgue, pending identification

    What the photos say:
Palestinians collecting the dismembered body parts of men, women and children killed by Israeli Occupation Forces January 19, 2008

Look carefully at this photo and you'll notice body parts from three different people. A child's arm, the decapitated man with a blanket over him and the torn torso of another victim--sex and identity for the child and torso are unknown.

Another truck load of body parts is taken by civilian volunteers to be sorted and identified when possible. The Israelis have destroyed most of Gaza's infrastructure. Civilian vehicles are used to do what health authorities usually do. In 2007 the Israeli kill ratio of Palestinians was 27 Palestinians killed for every Israeli. Most Israeli deaths in 2007 were military. Most Palestinian deaths were civilian.

Child killed by Israeli Occupation Forces in Gaza, January 19, 2008

Mohammed sent the following e-mail to me today before his battery died:
NO FOOD, NO WATER, NO BREAD!
No electricity Laura, people are going hungry, no
bread, and no medicine and lots of things that are
missing. people are out in the streets now calling for
the world to end the starvation and siege.
it might be that people's only option is to break out
the borderline and go to Egypt and get food.
It's scary here. no bread, no water at home where I
am. I have some leftovers biscuits from two days ago.
but my laptop batteries will be flat soon.
I will find a new agency from those who have
electricity generators to recharge my laptop and keep
online, if you don't hear from me this is why.
Again, I fear Israeli warplanes will bomb the people
in the streets. people are in lines trying to find
    bread.
I never seen this in all my 23 years life!
    Mohammed
