A friend who is a lawyer sent this to me, ( I should also mention he's devote in Judaism but rejects Zionism). See what he has to say and be sure to read the commentary below this from Harvard which Shows The Lobby attempting to censor free speech and information there too.

Pluto's owner and director, Roger van Zwanenberg is Jewish, and that Pluto has published among many the following authors: Daniel Dor, Michel Warschawski, John Rose, Israel Shahak , Nur Masalha, Marc H. Ellis, Noam Chomsky, Jeff Halper, Uri Avnery, and Ghada Karmi. Joel Kovel the author's whose book Overcoming Zionism and the object of the the attacks is himself Jewish. This is a Journalist and Researchers Dream! Thank you Amazon. I just ordered All the Shah's Men and am so glad I can browse and mark-up the book online...one less thing I have to pack before moving to the Middle East. Hopefully they'll do this with more of their non-fiction books. This will definitely cause me to order more through Amazon from this point forward and I generally spend about $3,000 a year on books and research. And yes, I actually read them all. So Amazon...somebody was thinking! Kudos

This is one of the reasons I really detest Feminism and that movement. Running a relationship company, I've seen the damage done to men by some pretty nasty women. I've also seen how cold and cruel men can be as well and I've had my heart broken at least five times now. But this double standard that women can put down men with impunity while men can't even pay a woman a compliment at work without risking sexual harassment charges, it's ridiculous and insane. These types of shirts should never have been let in schools in the first place. The first amendment doesn't apply wholly to those under the age of majority and the reason it doesn't is for their own protection since children don't have full mental capabilities and adult capacity until age twenty to twenty-one and children cannot discern cause and effect until age fourteen. They're still developing.
Sexism is a form of racism. How do you know? Replace the word 'boys' with Jewish or African American...suddenly it takes on a whole new nasty meaning. This is just as bad as men calling girls hoes, bi*ches and c*nts. Maybe not as crude, but just as disrespectful.

Good interview here with Norm Finkelstein, originally published on Znet. I'm actually going to hear Mearshiemer and Walt this evening up at the Hammer Museum--University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) speak on the Israel Lobby. I agree the blocking of Finkelstein from tenure was classic lobby. I also agree with the comments to this article disagreeing with his analysis on the Lobby's influence on going into Iraq and Iran. Both actions have neocon, ergo The Lobby, written all over them. Good interview here.

On The Lobby. A friend commented to me on the ADL's responses to the book, 'That guy with the ADL, all he did was call them names with no facts...unbelievable.'
I responded, 'They don't have facts on their side. When the truth is truth, all those offended by it can do is attempt to discredit the messengers. Seems the ADL is showing itself for what it really is. The defamation league.

The message being sent to other professors around the country is 'Don't mess with the Israel Lobby or we'll get you'. Finkelstein is one of the good guys out there and his scholorship is impeccible. That a plagerist like Alan Dershowitz can smear and prevent a man of this caliber from attaining tenure and others like Juan Cole from gaining promotions simply because they refuse to set aside their morals, values and academic credentials and tow the line on lies and propaganda, (this is about the book Beyond Chutzpah which nailed Dershowitz as a plagerist. It's also about Finkelstein writing one of the most important books out there on propaganda, 'The Holocaust Industry'. Blocking his tenure is punishment because he had the temerity to show how the Israel Lobby uses the Holocaust to induce guilt and keep itself free from criticism while it conducts a slower moving version of the same thing on the Palestinians). This really angers me. Censorship, threats and the loss of real voices, brave people and truth always does.

You hear a lot in the US about Palestinian school books and charges that they carry anti-Israel info. The Red Cross, Amnesty Intl and other NGO's did look into this and found all accusations of such to be unfounded. Furthermore, all books and teachers used for Palestinian education must be approved by Israel and these, like the books given to black children in the South prior to 1964 in the US press a Jewish supremacy message and for the most part ignore any Arab culture, history or identity.
Now when the minister of education in Israel actually approves of a school book which states 75% of the truth about the reason the Arabs left their homes during the founding of Israel, (75% because it says 'some' rather than acknowledging the full-fledge ethnic cleansing campaign begun in 1947 and fully realized with Plan D in Feb 1948). This Minister, who actually provided a measure of truth to students in the third grade is being repremanded and calls are being made for her dismissal?
Kind of reminds me of things that used to happen in the 1930's in a little place called Germany or during the 1950's in China and Russia.

Another leg of the Lobby. This is a new group looking to Zionize the media. They ask the question 'Why would the British Academia choose to boycott Israel' (though they state it using propaganda appeals).
The why is simple. Because Israel is an apartheid state and the academic institutions legitamize the Occupation in the territories and the racism in Israel. These institutions supply the doctors that treat the torture victims so they can be tortured again. The lawyers who draft the 2-tiered legal system and creates excuses to deny equal rights to non-Jews. They provide the training for the propagandists who regularly obscure Israel's crimes, the historians who rewrite history and actively work with the military and state to oppress, bypass international law, create excuses and dupe their own people. THAT is why the British are boycotting the Israeli Institutions and there is nothing stupid about it. What is stupid is using smart people to oppress others and create problems rather than using them to empower people and find solutions.
