From the page: "Among the outlined changes is the creation of a "lethal injection team" at San Quentin State Prison. Its members would be interviewed and selected by the prison warden, and they would undergo training - including a dress rehearsal - before a scheduled execution....
... State officials said they considered scaling back to one drug instead of three but concluded it might cause prisoners to go into convulsions "with unpredictable consequences."
The state's proposal includes completing an execution chamber whose construction was halted in a legal skirmish. The facility, being built about 50 metres from the existing one, includes three separate viewing rooms, a holding cell and a large area for executioners to prepare the lethal injection mix."
Wow, Arnold, how nifty and progressive - a dress rehearsal and three different rooms for viewers. Do they serve snacks? Where can I buy tickets for the show? I am glad that you made that 100 page plan to modernize death penalty, it's very progressive and takes away all the unjustice and pain, especially the pain of the families and friends of the guy on the stretcher. You really try to "dignify" the industrialisation of killing and I assume the innocent watching loved ones of the guy who will be so nicely put to death will feel so comfy now. I hail you, Executioner and please, when you go to church next sunday, give the guy in charge my greets. I am sure you already explained to him that the "thou shall not kill" part sucks.
