Good idea for improving access for wheelchairs, walkers, and PARENTS. Retailers often don't realize how much extra money they will bring in when they make their stores accessible.
Not only is the number of people in wheelchairs or walkers huge, but accessible stores mean families with strollers are much more likely to come back. The large bathrooms, wider aisles, push button entry, etc. make it a lot easier for families so we stay longer and spend more. As a mother and Disabled Veteran in a wheelchair I hope more retailers pay attention to one of the reasons places like Walmart and Target are successful - it's not just price - it's a better shopping experience through access!
