This very popular members-only campground is located only 20 minutes from our home in a beautiful country-like setting in the town of Wheatland in Upstate New York. Since it's so close we commute back and forth from our home and for work, too. See some of our camping friends in the picture to your left. There is a huge community of friends here. Everybody says Hi whether we know each other or not.

The Lost Boys (1987), as far as I am concerned, is THE first cool vampire movie.
Prior movies, and even a lot of vampire movies since, are period pieces more like the old-style classics. The rest are B-movie or outright horror films.
I was not at all interested.

I was surprised I actually liked The Lost Boys. It turned out to be a great story in the then current times and it is scary and funny at the same time. Starring Corey Haim, Corey Feldman (before they were known as the 2 Coreys), Jason Patrick, Keifer Sutherland and Jami Gertz. Jason Patric is the best looking almost-vampire. Even the bad guys...
